Who is answering the Ask The Expert questions?

? Question: What is Network World Partners?
A

Answer: Network World Partners is a collaborative effort between Network World and sponsoring Partner companies. Each microsite contains best-of-breed information as well as custom content not found anywhere else, including a custom email newsletter and special offers. It is current, top-of-mind information that is readily accessible and bundled into one comprehensive package.

? Question: How do I register and what information do you collect?
A

Answer: To register, go here and fill in the fields. We ask for basic demographic information including name, company, address telephone and email address, used primarily for us to send you a custom email newsletter. Because this is a vendor-sponsored area, we also ask that you provide some additional, optional information determined in part with Partners.

? Question: How is that information used?
A

Answer: This information is used in two ways. First, Network World uses this information to better understand your needs as a technology reader. What you tell us could very well shape the type and amount of information we post at Network World Partners and include in the custom email newsletters. Next, vendors use this information in a similar way, but also as a source for qualifying leads for sales efforts.

? Question: Will you sell my name and information?
A

Answer: NO, we will never sell your personal information to any third party not participating in Network World Partners. When you sign up to gain access to a specific site, you should expect to receive information from that participating Partner(s).

?
Question: What is preferred content?
A

Answer: Preferred content is custom editorial, not advertorial, that Network World creates for participating Partners. It is customer focused and may include opinions from top industry analysts, customers who have successfully implemented a Partner solution.

? Question: How do I unsubscribe or change my information?
A

Answer: To unsubscribe, send an email at nwfpartners@nww.com asking to remove yourself from the list of registered users. To change your information, simply edit your profile once you are logged in.

? Question: Who is answering the Ask The Expert questions?
A

Answer: Each site within Network World Partners is a collaboration between Network World and a sponsoring Partner. Most times, an expert within a Partner company is answering these questions; however, a guest industry analyst or other third party expert may be answering these questions.
